Medical Wellness
Medical Weight Loss
You have done the work. The tracking, the training, the discipline that used to move the needle and now does not. That is not a willpower problem. It is a metabolic one, and it responds to medical support.

Who This Is For
Medical weight loss is not one program applied to everyone who walks through the door. It is a spectrum, and where you land on it depends on what your body is actually doing. See if any of this sounds familiar.
The last 10 to 15 pounds
Close to where you want to be and completely stuck getting the rest of the way.
A bigger goal
Twenty pounds or more, and you want a plan with medical structure behind it.
Body composition, not the scale
The number holds steady while the composition keeps shifting the wrong direction.
Stubborn pockets
Fat that will not respond to anything, usually through the midsection.
Inflammation
Puffiness, bloating, joint aches, and a general sense of being inflamed.
Food noise
Constant background thinking about eating that takes real effort to override.
A metabolism that changed
The same habits that kept you steady for years quietly stopped working.
Regain after previous loss
You have lost it before. Keeping it off is the part that never held.
You want medical oversight
Not an online questionnaire and a shipped box. An actual provider who follows you.
Weight is a symptom, not a character flaw. When your metabolism, your hormones, and your inflammation are all working against you, discipline alone was never going to be enough.
The MK Approach to Metabolic Health
Two Tracks, One Decision
We run GLP-1 therapy at two different intensities. Which one you start on comes down to your goal, your body, and what your provider sees in your evaluation. Both use semaglutide or tirzepatide.
Metabolic Optimization
A lower dose aimed at how your body runs rather than at the scale alone. This is the track for patients who are already reasonably close to their goal and want to refine rather than overhaul.
Best suited for
- Roughly 5 to 15 pounds of intended loss
- Inflammation support
- Optimizing body composition
- Preserving lean muscle while leaning out
Weight Management
A standard therapeutic dose for patients with a larger goal. Same medications, escalated over time under provider guidance, with the structure and monitoring that a bigger change requires.
Best suited for
- Roughly 15 to 20 pounds or more
- Sustained, medically supervised weight loss
- Metabolic health markers that need real movement
- Patients who want ongoing accountability built in
You do not have to pick before you come in. Your provider will recommend a track during your evaluation based on your history, your goals, and what is medically appropriate. Patients move between tracks as their needs change.
The Medications
Both are GLP-1 receptor agonists, and both are available on either track. The difference is in how they work, and your provider will match the medication to you rather than defaulting to one.
Semaglutide
GLP-1 Receptor Agonist
Semaglutide works on the GLP-1 pathway to slow gastric emptying, improve insulin response, and quiet appetite signaling. For most patients that translates to feeling satisfied sooner, staying satisfied longer, and losing the constant background pull toward food.
Tirzepatide
Dual GIP and GLP-1 Agonist
Tirzepatide acts on two pathways rather than one, adding GIP activity alongside GLP-1. That dual action tends to produce a stronger metabolic response, which is why it is often the choice for patients with a larger goal or a history of plateaus.
What Your Program Includes
Your program price is not just the medication. It covers everything you need to run the protocol and the provider support behind it.
Your medication. Semaglutide or tirzepatide, dosed to your protocol. A vial typically lasts 8 to 16 weeks depending on your individual dosing schedule.
Injection supplies. Everything needed for self-administration, included rather than billed separately.
Monthly check-ins. Included and optional. Come in, meet virtually, or simply reply to the monthly check-in form we send. Whichever fits your life.
Dose adjustments. Your protocol is not fixed. Your provider adjusts as your body responds and as your goals shift.
Access to peptides and supplements. When they are medically appropriate, your provider can layer them into your plan.
A provider who knows your case. Not a rotating queue. The same person following your progress from start to finish.
How It Starts
One visit. No lab panel required, no long runway before you can begin.
Metabolic Optimization and Weight Management Evaluation
A focused medical consultation with our nurse practitioner. You will walk through your health history, your lifestyle, what you have already tried, and what you actually want to change. Your provider determines whether GLP-1 therapy, peptides, supplements, or other metabolic support belong in your plan, and which track fits.
This is the streamlined pathway. It is built for patients whose primary focus is metabolism, body composition, inflammation, or weight, and who do not need a full hormone work-up to get moving.
Program pricing varies by medication and track. Your provider will walk you through exactly what your plan costs, and what the evaluation itself runs, during your visit.
Wondering whether hormones are part of the picture? This evaluation qualifies you for GLP-1 and peptide therapy, but not for hormone therapy. If you suspect hormones are driving what you are experiencing, or you simply want the complete picture, start instead with our Comprehensive Hormone Optimization path. It includes full lab work and opens access to everything we offer, weight management included.
