Skin Treatments
HALO TRIBRID
For years, getting at everything at once meant stacking treatments and taking the downtime twice. HALO TRIBRID puts three laser wavelengths in one handpiece, so texture, pigment, and the deeper layers are addressed in a single session with a single recovery.
Starting at $2,325

What It Treats
Your skin carries the record of your life, and some of what it records you would rather not keep. These are the concerns HALO TRIBRID was built to address.
Fine lines and wrinkles
Softened as the skin's own renewal process is triggered and new cells come up.
Sun damage and uneven tone
Sun spots, discoloration, and the patchiness that makeup has been covering.
Acne scars and surface irregularities
Resurfacing and remodeling to even out texture left behind by old breakouts.
Enlarged pores
Visibly reduced in appearance as the skin's healing response tightens texture.
Dull, tired-looking skin
The flatness that sleep and skincare stopped fixing somewhere along the way.
Pigmented lesions
Cleared from both the papillary and reticular layers rather than only the surface.
A laser does not know what your face needs. The settings do, and the person choosing them does. That is where the result actually comes from.
The MK Approach to Resurfacing
Three Wavelengths, One Session
Your skin is not one layer, and neither is this treatment. These include the wavelengths behind HALO and MOXI, so one TRIBRID session stacks what those treatments do on their own. Each wavelength can be used on its own or combined with the others, and your provider sets the depth and intensity to match what your skin actually needs.
2940 nm
Smooths and Polishes
What it does
Resurfaces the outer layer of the skin to improve texture and soften fine lines. This is the wavelength behind that immediately smoother, polished feel.
Best for
Rough texture, visible surface imperfections, and anyone who wants instant polish.
1927 nm
Brightens and Balances
What it does
Targets unwanted pigmentation, discoloration, and sun damage to restore clarity and an even tone, without breaking the surface of the skin.
Best for
Sun-damaged or uneven skin, and the brown spots that keep reappearing every summer.
1470 nm
Deep Dermal Repair
What it does
Reaches into the dermis to stimulate deep renewal, which is where long-term improvement in tone, texture, and skin strength is built.
Best for
Deeper concerns and anyone looking for change that holds rather than a short-term glow.
What to Expect
Here is the honest version, start to finish, so you can plan around it rather than find out as you go.
Your provider applies a topical numbing cream, or recommends another anesthetic option, roughly 60 minutes ahead of your treatment.
The handpiece glides across your skin with built-in air cooling running the whole time. Most patients describe a warm, prickling feeling rather than pain.
Your skin looks red and feels tight, similar to a mild sunburn. Many patients are comfortable being out and about by the next day.
A bronzed, sandpaper-like texture appears. These are MENDs, microscopic epidermal necrotic debris, and they are the treated cells working their way to the surface. This is the part that looks worse before it looks better, and it is supposed to happen.
That texture flakes away on its own and the new skin underneath shows up. Expect 5 to 7 days of redness and flaking overall.
Pigment continues to fade and tone evens out.
The dermal renewal keeps working. Skin quality continues improving for months, and with sun protection the results could hold for years.
Before and After Care
How you prepare and how you recover affect the result as much as the settings do. None of this is complicated, but it does matter.
Before your treatment
- Stop retinols, exfoliants, and harsh skincare for 7 days.
- Stay out of direct sun and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks.
- Skip self-tanner in the treatment area.
- Pause other resurfacing treatments, chemical peels, and waxing for at least a week.
- Tell your provider about your current skincare routine and any medications you take.
The first 48 hours after your treatment
- You will leave your treatment with a Velez Mask, which can be left on for up to 2 hours. Additional Velez Masks or Spray can be purchased and applied as needed for ongoing comfort.
- Other than cleansing with lukewarm or cool water, do not apply anything else to your skin for the first 48 hours.
- Avoid heat and any physical activity that breaks a sweat, including saunas and hot yoga.
After 48 hours
- Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer until your skin has fully renewed.
- Apply broad-spectrum SPF every day and avoid direct sun for at least a week.
- Let the flaking happen on its own. Do not pick at it or scrub it off.
- Follow the aftercare instructions your provider gives you.
Part of a Bigger Plan
No treatment works in a vacuum. HALO TRIBRID is usually sequenced with other things we do rather than run on its own.
With BBL. BBL handles vascular concerns and broad pigment across the face and body, which pairs naturally with the resurfacing TRIBRID does.
Alongside MOXI. MOXI remains the lighter option for maintenance between deeper treatments.
With injectables. Resurfacing changes skin quality. Injectables address volume and movement, which is a different problem.
With Sofwave. Sofwave works on laxity beneath the surface while TRIBRID works on the surface itself.
Supported by peptides. GHK-Cu and our Glow Stack support collagen and healing after resurfacing.
With VAMP PDRN. VAMP PDRN can be added on to your TRIBRID treatment. Pairing it with laser resurfacing can accelerate recovery while improving the final result.
Sequenced, not stacked. Your provider will tell you what order to do things in, and will tell you if TRIBRID is not the right starting point for you.
