Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy
You know your own body. When the energy, the sleep, the mood, and the way you feel in your own skin all start shifting at once, something is going on beneath the surface. Hormone therapy at MK Aesthetics starts with finding out exactly what.

What Hormone Therapy Actually Addresses
Hormonal change rarely announces itself. It shows up as a collection of things you have started explaining away as stress, age, or a busy season. Here is what patients tell us before they start.
Exhaustion that sleep does not fix
Eight hours in bed and still running on empty by mid-afternoon.
Brain fog
Losing words, losing the thread, feeling a step behind your own thinking.
Weight that will not move
Same diet, same workouts, different body. Especially through the midsection.
Mood and irritability
A shorter fuse than you recognize, or anxiety that arrived without a reason.
Low libido
Interest that faded quietly and has not come back on its own.
Hot flashes and night sweats
Temperature swings that interrupt your day and wreck your sleep.
Poor recovery
Workouts that take days to bounce back from, strength that keeps slipping.
Sleep that broke
Falling asleep fine and waking at 3 a.m., or never quite waking rested.
Labs that came back "normal"
You were told everything looks fine. You still do not feel fine.
Normal is not the same as optimal. A number can sit inside a reference range while you feel nothing like yourself, and how you feel is the part that matters.
The MK Approach to Hormone Health
How It Works
Hormone therapy at MK does not start with a prescription. It starts with data. Our Comprehensive Hormone Optimization path is two visits, and it is the foundation for everything that follows.
Step One
Comprehensive Lab Panel
A specialized panel that looks well past a standard workup. We evaluate hormones, thyroid function, vitamin levels, metabolic markers, and the other indicators that tell us how your body is actually functioning.
Your Nurse Practitioner reviews the results against your history and symptoms before you ever sit down together, so your evaluation is a real conversation instead of a walkthrough of numbers on a page.
Step Two
Hormone Optimization Evaluation
Scheduled about a week after your labs. This is where your story, your symptoms, and your results come together. Your provider digs into your health history, your lifestyle, and what you actually want to feel like, then builds a plan around it.
Many patients are able to begin treatment the same day when it is medically appropriate.
The evaluation is $575 and covers both visits. From there, your treatment plan is built and priced around what you actually need. If hormone therapy is not the right answer for you, we will tell you that too.
The Forms of Hormone Therapy We Offer
Pellets, injections, creams, patches, oral. There is no single right delivery method, only the one that fits your body, your labs, and how you want to live. Here is what is available and how we tend to approach each.
Testosterone
Our Primary Method
Bioidentical pellets, for both women and men. A small insertion delivers a steady release over time, which avoids the peaks and drops that come with more frequent dosing.
Also Available
Injections, administered here in the clinic or sent to your home for self-administration.
By Request
Creams can be discussed with your provider and prescribed to your pharmacy as needed.
Estrogen
Our Primary Method
Bioidentical pellets, for the same reason. Consistent delivery, fewer fluctuations, less for you to manage day to day.
By Request
Creams and patches can be discussed with your provider and prescribed to your pharmacy as needed.
Progesterone
How It Is Prescribed
Always as an oral prescription. Progesterone is not available in pellet form, so this one is consistent across every plan that includes it.
Worth Knowing
Progesterone is frequently paired with estrogen rather than prescribed on its own. Your provider will explain where it fits in your plan.
One Evaluation, The Full Picture
Hormones are rarely the only thing going on. Because the comprehensive panel looks at so much at once, your provider can recommend across everything we offer rather than treating one system in isolation.
Hormone optimization. Bioidentical testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone, dosed to your labs and adjusted as you go.
GLP-1 therapy. Semaglutide and tirzepatide, in microdose or full dose tracks, when metabolic support belongs in your plan.
Peptide therapy. NAD+, GHK-Cu, recovery and regenerative peptides, prescribed alongside the rest of your protocol.
Targeted supplementation. Based on the actual deficiencies your panel turns up, not a generic stack.
Lifestyle guidance. Sleep, nutrition, stress, and movement, addressed as part of the plan rather than as an afterthought.
Ongoing monitoring. Follow-up labs and adjustments, because the first protocol is a starting point, not a final answer.
Who You Will Work With
Hormone therapy is a relationship, not a transaction. You will see the same people from your first lab draw through every adjustment that follows.
