What is Medical Wellness? +
Medical Wellness is a functional, inside-out approach to health. We use comprehensive lab work and personalized care plans to address what is actually happening in your body, not just treat symptoms on the surface.
Who is this for? +
This is for anyone, especially women and men in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond, who feel exhausted, off, or like something has shifted in their body. If you have been told your labs are "normal" but you still do not feel right, this is for you.
What does a comprehensive evaluation involve? +
Our medical wellness evaluation is a two-step process. We start by ordering comprehensive lab work that goes beyond the standard panel. Then we have an in-depth conversation about your medical history, how you feel, and what your symptoms and lab results are telling us. Your provider then builds a personalized plan that may include hormones, peptides, supplements, and lifestyle guidance.
What makes this different from my primary care doctor? +
We look beyond standard reference ranges. "Normal" does not always mean optimal. We focus on how you are actually functioning day to day and pair that with deeper lab insight to guide real, personalized support.
What types of treatments might be recommended? +
Depending on your labs, symptoms, health history, and goals, your plan may include bioidentical hormones, peptide therapy, targeted supplements, and lifestyle adjustments around sleep, nutrition, and stress. Everything is tailored to you.
How long before I start feeling results? +
Many patients notice shifts within the first few weeks, though meaningful changes in energy, mood, and overall function typically develop over 8 to 12 weeks as your body adjusts to the plan.
Do you accept insurance? +
Although more insurance companies are reimbursing patients for components of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and GLP-1 medications, many currently do not and there is no guarantee. Payment is due in full at the time of your appointment. MK Aesthetics does not handle insurance reimbursement coordination. Should you choose to explore reimbursement, you would be responsible for filing directly with your insurance company. We accept HSA, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, check, cash, and financing via Cherry (application required). HSA patients are responsible for confirming qualified expenses with their HSA administrator.
What is the cost? +
The most common and most comprehensive starting point to thoroughly evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe a personalized wellness treatment plan is with our Hormone Optimization Evaluation + Lab Panel, which costs $575 for men and women. From there, any treatment would be customized and priced based on your plan.
Who will I be working with? +
Our wellness program is led by Leslie, our nurse practitioner with years of experience, and her assisting nurse Taylor. They work closely with each patient from the initial consultation through ongoing monitoring and adjustments.

MICC is a supercharged version of our standard Vitamin B12 injection. Choose MICC if you are looking to break down fat and reenergize from the inside out.
