Peptide Therapy

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. They tell cells what to do: repair tissue, produce collagen, release growth hormone, calm inflammation. Peptide therapy at MK Aesthetics uses that signaling to support recovery, skin, sleep, body composition, and how you age.

What Peptide Therapy Can Support

Peptides are not a single treatment. Each one carries a different signal, which is why the right protocol depends on what you are trying to change. These are the goals patients bring to us most often.

Injury and recovery

Nagging joints, slow-healing tendons, workouts that take days to bounce back from.

Skin and hair

Collagen, elasticity, and hair support from the inside, and faster recovery after aesthetic treatments.

Sleep quality

Deeper, more restorative sleep that leaves you rested instead of just unconscious for eight hours.

Body composition

Holding on to lean muscle while reducing fat, especially stubborn fat through the midsection.

Energy and focus

Cellular energy, mental clarity, and resilience against the fatigue that builds with age and stress.

Healthy aging

Supporting the body's own growth hormone rhythm and repair processes as they naturally decline.

Peptides do not force a result. They give your body a signal it already knows how to follow. The work is choosing the right signal for the right person.

The MK Approach to Peptide Therapy

How It Works

Peptide therapy is prescription-based and provider-directed. It starts with a conversation about your goals and your health, and it ends with a protocol you can run from home.

Step One

Peptide Evaluation

In Clinic or Virtual

Your provider reviews your health history, your goals, and any medications or conditions that affect which peptides are appropriate. If you have already completed our Hormone Optimization Evaluation, your labs inform this conversation as well.

From there, your provider selects the peptide or stack that matches what you want to change, and explains what to expect and how long it takes.

Step Two

Your Protocol at Home

Self-Administered · 3 to 7 Days Per Week

Once prescribed, your peptides ship directly to your home or are picked up at the clinic. Most protocols are small subcutaneous injections that you administer yourself, and our team walks you through the process before you start.

Protocols run in cycles, typically a few months on followed by a break, with check-ins along the way so your provider can adjust as your body responds.

The Peptide Evaluation is $100, and it is credited toward your first peptide purchase. Peptide pricing depends on the specific peptide and the length of your protocol, so your provider will go over it with you directly. If peptides are not the right fit for your goals, we will tell you that too.

The Peptides We Offer

Each peptide below is prescribed individually by your provider. Some are used on their own and some are combined into stacks that work on more than one system at once.

BPC-157

What It Is

A regenerative peptide originally derived from a protein found in the stomach. It supports tissue repair in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints, helps calm inflammation, and supports the gut lining.

Best For

Injury recovery, chronic joint or tendon discomfort, post-surgical healing, and gut health.

TB-500

What It Is

A fragment of thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring protein involved in cell migration and repair. TB-500 supports soft tissue healing, flexibility, and new blood vessel growth, and helps limit scar tissue as injuries heal.

Best For

Tendon and ligament recovery, joint stiffness, mobility, and active people who want to recover faster between training sessions.

Wolverine Stack

What It Is

BPC-157 and TB-500 combined in a single injection. The two peptides work through different repair pathways, so together they cover inflammation, tissue regeneration, and circulation at the same time.

Best For

Injury and post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, and anyone who wants the broadest recovery signal in one protocol.

GHK-Cu

What It Is

A copper-binding peptide the body produces on its own, best known for its role in skin remodeling and wound healing. It supports collagen and elastin production, skin texture, and hair follicle activity, with antioxidant effects that help protect cells from stress.

Best For

Skin rejuvenation, hair support, scar healing, and recovery after aesthetic procedures.

Glow Stack

What It Is

GHK-Cu, BPC-157, and TB-500 in one blend. It pairs the deep tissue repair of the Wolverine Stack with the collagen and skin support of GHK-Cu, so internal recovery and visible skin renewal happen together.

Best For

Anti-aging and skin quality, post-procedure repair, and patients who want recovery and rejuvenation from a single protocol.

CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin

What It Is

Two peptides that prompt your pituitary to release growth hormone in natural pulses rather than delivering hormone directly. Together they support lean muscle, fat metabolism, tissue repair, and the deep sleep that growth hormone release depends on.

Best For

Lean muscle retention, recovery, sleep quality, and healthy aging.

Sermorelin

What It Is

A growth hormone releasing hormone analog that supports your body's own pulsatile growth hormone production. Because it works through your natural rhythm rather than replacing it, it is a common long-term option for sleep, recovery, and body composition.

Best For

Age-related growth hormone decline, poor sleep or recovery, fat loss with lean muscle support, and skin and collagen quality.

Tesamorelin

What It Is

A growth hormone releasing hormone analog with a specific track record for reducing visceral fat, the deep abdominal fat that diet and exercise struggle to reach, while helping preserve lean muscle.

Best For

Targeted midsection fat loss, body composition, and metabolic support.

NAD+

What It Is

A coenzyme every cell uses to produce energy and repair DNA. NAD+ levels decline with age, which shows up as fatigue, brain fog, and metabolic slowdown. Available as a self-administered injection or as a weekly in-clinic option.

Best For

Energy, mental clarity, recovery from burnout, and cellular support for healthy aging.

Peptides Rarely Work Alone

Most patients on peptide therapy are also doing something else with us, because the goals overlap. Your provider builds the protocol with the whole plan in view.

Hormone therapy. Growth hormone peptides and bioidentical hormone replacement address different systems and are frequently prescribed together.

Weight management. Recovery and body composition peptides support lean muscle for patients on GLP-1 therapy.

Aesthetic treatments. GHK-Cu and the Glow Stack support healing and collagen after microneedling, laser, and Sofwave.

IV and injection therapy. IV therapy and B12 injections cover the nutrient side while peptides handle the signaling side.

Common Questions

What are peptides, exactly? +
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the same building blocks that make up proteins. Your body produces thousands of them to regulate things like tissue repair, metabolism, inflammation, and hormone release. Peptide therapy uses specific peptides to strengthen a signal your body already sends.
Are peptides the same as steroids or growth hormone? +
No. Peptides like Sermorelin and CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin prompt your pituitary to release your own growth hormone in its natural rhythm. They do not deliver hormone directly, which is a meaningful difference in how your body responds and how the therapy is managed.
How are peptides taken? +
Most are small subcutaneous injections, similar to the ones used for GLP-1 medications, that you give yourself at home three to seven days a week depending on the peptide. Our team teaches you the process before you start. NAD+ is also available as a weekly injection in the clinic.
How long before I notice anything? +
It depends on the peptide and the goal. Recovery peptides often show changes within a few weeks. Growth hormone peptides work more gradually, with sleep and recovery improving first and body composition following over two to three months. Your provider will set expectations for your specific protocol.
Do I need labs first? +
Not always. The Peptide Evaluation is the starting point, and your provider will tell you if labs are needed for the peptide you are considering. If you have completed our Hormone Optimization Evaluation, those results are used to guide your protocol.
Is peptide therapy safe? +
Peptides are prescribed by a licensed provider after a review of your health history, and side effects are generally mild, most often irritation at the injection site. Peptide therapy is not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and certain conditions, including active cancer, rule out specific peptides. That screening is exactly what the evaluation is for.
What does it cost? +
The Peptide Evaluation is $100 and is credited toward your first peptide purchase. Peptide pricing varies by product and protocol length, so your provider will review it with you at your evaluation rather than us listing it here.
Do you accept insurance? +
Peptide therapy is not covered by insurance. Payment is due in full at the time of your appointment. We accept HSA, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, check, cash, and financing through Cherry. HSA patients are responsible for confirming qualified expenses with their administrator.
I am not sure which peptide I need. +
That is normal, and it is the point of the evaluation. Come in with your goal, whether that is a shoulder that will not heal, skin that has lost its bounce, or energy that disappeared, and your provider will match the peptide to it. If you would rather talk first, book a complimentary Wellness Pre-Consultation with our wellness nurse.
